BELMONT CENTER: As of today, here are a few news items related to the Belmont Center Zoning Project
- Yesterday, the consultant submitted a draft #2 of the new zoning. Currently staff of the Office of Planning & Building is reviewing this draft for responsiveness to the nearly 100 comments and edits submitted to the consultant by staff, the Planning Board, and the public. There will unquestionably be some necessary edits so the new expected date of distribution of the new zoning will be May 22, 2025.
- A reminder that the next public event will be the Open House to intruduce the new zoning on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 @ 7:00 pm at the Beech Street Center.
- The consultant, Able.City, will be preseent at the Planning Board regular meeting of June 17, 2025 for a Q&A with the Board.
