Currently, planning staff is working to develop a rough draft plan for the area based on the data collected by staff, information provided by consultant Able.City, the HKS project, and other sources. This will be discussed at an upcoming Planning Board meeting and the Board will be scheduling a public meeting on the draft plan sometime in January or February.
The next step will be Planning Board consideration of adoption of the Plan as a framework for actions, including potential zoning for the project area. From this point forward, it is anticipated that the project will closely mirror the process used for the Center zoning with some refinements based on public feedback.
