Good afternoon
This is a brief update on the Belmont Center Zoning project for Monday, February 2, 2026. At this point, staff and the Planning Board are continuing to prepare public information in the lead up to Town Meeting. Here are some specifics:
- The Planning Board meeting of Tuesday, February 17th will include a discussion and vote on the 12 amendments submitted for Articles 2 and 3.
- League of Women Voters warrant discussion will be on February 26th. Staff and a Planning Board member will be present to answer questions.
- Staff and Town Counsel continue to work on draft language for Design and Site Plan Review and Construction Management provisions for ATM. We hope to share initial drafts soon.

Note that Planning staff are interested and willing to attend meetings and discussions on the Center Zoning by invitation and based on availability. This includes any precinct meetings that are scheduled. We look forward to be able to answer questions and provide details on the zoning for the public.
