March 3, 2026 - Water Main repair work continues on Common Street (Cushing Square Area) and Elm Street (Dalton Road Area)

Sewer & Stormwater Pipe Inspections

The Engineering Division and its consultant Stantec will be completing CCTV camera inspections on the Town’s sewer and stormwater pipes starting on February 17th from 7AM to 3PM. There will be no disruption to your water or sewer service. Please observe all traffic signage and road closures. The CCTV work is scheduled on the following days:

Tues 02/17: 7AM-3PM

Weds 02/18: 7AM-3PM

Mon 02/23: 7AM-3PM

Tues 02/24: 7AM-3PM

Weds 02/25: 7AM-3PM

Thurs 02/26: 7AM-3PM

Fri 02/27: 7AM-3PM

The work will take place on Dalton Road, Betts Road, Livermore Road, Shaw Road, Audrey Road, Sargent Road, and Herbert Road. If you have any questions, please contact the Engineering Division by emailing engineering@belmont-ma.gov or calling 617-993-2665

National Grid is replacing the gas main running between 90 to 232 Concord Avenue and service piping that connects customers.  These connections may run up Watson Road and area side streets.  This work will go from January 5 - April 24, 2026 as weather permits.  Please contact National Grid directly with questions about the project at 781-663-3120.  You may contact the Engineering Department with issues related to the project site and national Grids contractors at Engineering@belmont-ma.gov
