Real Estate & Community Preservation Act (CPA) Exemptions

As approved by state law, the Board of Assessors administers tax assistance programs for various eligible taxpayers. Additional information can be obtained by contacting the Assessor's Office at 617-993-2630 or downloaded. The filing period for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 is July 1, 2025, through April 1, 2026. Applications for exemptions must be filed each year. Exemptions are granted on an annual basis.
